I have been working with Crionna for the past few years and I highly recommend working with
her. Crionna is more like a mentor than a nutritionist, educating me on a daily basis about what to eat and when to eat it.
Looking back over food diaries from when I first starting working with Crionna I was on college I thought I had a great diet, however Crionna soon proved that I had a long way to go.
We work as a team setting realistic nutrition goals aimed at improving my recover and performance. I amcurrently 0.13 of second of qualifying for the Rio Olympic games and I am currently in a qualifying spot with the Irish 4x400m team.
My nutrition is vital in my bit to find that extra percentage that I require to qualify forRio. If I can recover faster, then I can train harder which ultimately help me along my path. Nutrition is a much debated topic but working with Crionna I have learnt so much about what my body requires to reach the next level.
Crionna tailors a nutrition plan to the specific needs of my training cycle. We incorporate everything from food to supplements to recovery tools. My body is now in a fantastic position to chase my dreams and I thank Crionna for helping transform me from a rookie to a pro.

“I started working with Crionna at the beginning of 2010 and found her detailed appraisal of my nutrition needs gave an immediate benefit to my training and tournament performance. I trained better, and performed better, following Crionna’s advice.”
Conor Niland, Irish Professional Tennis player, ranked 129 in the World 2010
Crionna has made a huge difference to my diet as a marathon runner. She not only has taught me so much about fuelling my body with healthy nutritional foods, but also at balancing my energy levels to the large volume of miles that I log each week. Consistent training week in week out is vital, and that can only be achieved by not getting sick and having the fuel inside to do the work.
Maria McCambridge, 2004 Olympian and 2013 Dublin Marathon Winner
I have been delighted to present some training and nutrition presentations with Crionna to cycling groups. Athletes I coach have also worked with Crionna with great benefits to their sporting performances and health. I have found her approach to Performance Nutrition to be very supportive of the athlete. She shows great expertise in fitting the athletes nutritional needs to their sporting lifestyle and other demands like work and education in a sustainable way.

During my time as the manager of the Dublin hurling team Crionna acted as our nutritionist and became an essential and integral part of our team. The success of delivering information can often be measured by the ability of the player/group to accept and act on that information. Of course, this is often predicated by the relationship between the teacher and the players. Crionna has exceptional communication skills and that resulted in a sustained trusting rapport with all members of the team and management. Methodical and organised Crionna’s obvious passion for research meant that all of our nutritional practises were ‘cutting edge’. Coming from a sporting background gives her the added advantage of having the insight into the various sensitivities of the training environment. On behalf of the management and the team I extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Crionna for her invaluable contribution.
Anthony Daly, Dublin Senior Hurling Football Manager, 2008-2014
“I have had the pleasure of working with Crionna Tobin on more than one occasion and cannot speak highly enough of her depth of knowledge, professionalism, approachability and her desire to be the best for each of the athletes she has worked with.
I worked with Crionna with Dublin ladies football and also as a basketball scholarship athlete with Dublin City University. Whether working with a team of 30 athletes or on an individual level Crionna never delivered the same talk more than once continually updating and inventing new ways to eat a healthy and nutritious diet tailoring these ways to her specific audience. Crionna always answered my questions and never hesitated to email me specific hints and ways to tailor my lifestyle and diet to cater for my own individual sporting needs.
For any individual or team looking to enhance their lifestyle and to learn more about the importance of nutrition I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly than Crionna”
Linsday Peat, Dublin Footballer & International Basketball player
Our whole team has been working closely with Crionna for the past 3/4 years and I truly believe that she has had a huge positive impact on this bunch of lads. Nutrition has become an integral part of preparation within the GAA and I think more and more emphasis is being placed on this to try and get an edge over other teams. Inter-county training is very demanding and in order to be able to train hard day in day out you have to recover well. Nutrition is an important aspect of this recovery process.
Crionna has not only provided us with very clear information about the importance of good nutrition for sports performance, but she has also educated the team regards general nutrition. Crionna worked hard with ever player individually and provided guidance and help to those who were in need of it, from making changes to the dietary need of players, to providing information on supplements which should be taken in order to utilise your full potential on the field.. Crionna engages with the group very regularly and always provides useful feedback and answers to player’s questions.
I would like to thank Crionna on behalf of the team for all her hard work she puts in throughout the past few years.
